Esprit is a CWB mare bred in Ontario. She is the daughter of Kaiser de la Cour who was CWB licensing champion and winner of the five and six year old championships in Ontario as a young horse. He was imported from France by Millcreek and is by the excellent French stallion Verdi. He went on to compete in the 7 year olds in Wellington and did several 3* grand prix. He was then turned into a top equitation horse, a testament to his rideability. Esprit’s damsire is the late Godewind, the old Hannoverian lines that produced Voltaire. Esprit’s full sister qualified for young riders in eventing.

Esprit produces tall horses with a calm, easy demeanor and good jumping ability.
